Baby photography In Singapore

Today was fun.
Having fun in the studio with lots of inspiration.

One of the questions that professional photographers get asked is “What shall I bring to wear?”

Our handy “What To Expect from your Littleones Photography Experience” guide (which you get once you’ve booked your studio session or your outdoor family photography session) can help you decide – but sometimes a client knows exactly what they are hoping to get from a photography session, and they come prepared!

One of our fabulous clients, Anastasia, booked a baby photography session with us to capture some images of her little boy – “just like Daddy” – as a surprise for her husband’s birthday.

Anastasia had thought of everything! Daddy’s favourite football team, his favourite food, a nod to his homeland, his job and birthday – and finished off with just how clever Mummy was! The final effect was a series of very fun and lively images that Anastasia used at her husband’s birthday party – to great applause (and a few tears of joy!).

Anastasia chose our beautiful keepsake leather coffee table book, as well as acrylic blocks and a bespoke piece of wall art as gifts to keep for a lifetime – and she used the complimentary digital copies as a slide show for all the guests to enjoy.

Award winning family photographer Singapore

Littleones Photography was asked to go along and capture the morning’s fun and laughter as New Mother’s Support Group invited its members along to support the launch of the new and improved Bakipa app, at Fidgets at The Grandstand.

Our pop-up photo studio corner was popular with the mums and their babies. The launch took place in the brightly coloured rainbow party room, so we used a pale coffee coloured background (with our favourite bunting of course) to offer a calmer setting, whilst helping to lift the natural light. We enjoyed bumping into several past clients, and lots of new ones!

NMSG offers help to families by holding coffee mornings and other events for their subscribed members and this ethos is shared by Marigold Duncan, founder of the Bakipa app, as she explained “Bakipa is a mobile marketplace for children’s products and services, where parents can buy and sell everything for their kids and find helpful family services.”

As with most of our event photography in Singapore, we created an album (which you can see  here ) with the best of the photographs on our Facebook Page soon after the event, so all those who attended are able to see the results, and share the love!

Did you know? Since launching in January 2015, Bakipa has over 16,000 members and has helped families, in Singapore, save over $600,000 on children’s products!

Children’s Photographer in Singapore

Children's Photographer in Singapore - Blue House @ UE Square

It’s always fun and exciting to explore a new location for children in Singapore, especially when you know that the winning team from Blue House is behind it. As a long-standing partner, we were invited to go along to their brand new Infant & Toddler Atelier at UE Square.

The new atelier takes advantage of natural light, and offers the perfect surroundings to safely explore, in keeping with their ethos of “creating a natural and purposeful environment that provokes, challenges and inspires.”

This kind of location was a joy to work in – sun light plus light tables and amazing transparent coloured shapes made for these beautiful photographs of children deep in thought and wonder.

Shona Sanosi, Owner and Director of Research and Development at Blue House Nursery & International Preschool, says “There is such power in the word wonder. Wonder is to think, to be surprised, to question, to challenge.” This ‘wonder’ can be seen in many of the photographs that we were able to capture, naturally.

We had fun watching the children as they discovered the Reggio Emilia approach to learning hands on with light, songs & music, activities and open-ended materials which are designed to intrigue a child’s natural curiosity.

Congratulations to Shona, and her team, who are proud of their work here in Singapore over the last 7 years.

Singapore Professional Photographer

Littleones Photography - Lifestyle Photography - Carrotstick & Cravings

When we met Terri-Anne from “Carrotsticks & Cravings” a few years ago to photograph her twins, at our photo studio in Singapore, we had no idea she was going to have such a busy few years ahead of her! Not only did she have another gorgeous baby girl, but she also set up her own company!

Terri-Anne is very passionate about food and creates the most delicious dishes for all meal times. She is all about super foods & creating healthy recipes. Her love of sharing her recipes saw the creation of “Carrotsticks and Cravings” with a website, Facebook Page and a blog. Ever the Supermum, Terri-Anne is taking this to the next level and is about to launch her first book.

We were thrilled when she chose us to capture the family shots, on location at her home, that will complete the book, due to be published and launched before the end of this year.

The photography session was taken in Terri-Anne’s kitchen at her home, using the perfect morning light to create the airy and fresh look to compliment the photographs of the food that she has already selected. The images have a lovely natural pure feel to them, which is in keeping with her food style.

Terri-Anne incorporated her recipes into the session so that we could get some images to enhance the personal side of the book, whilst remaining ever professional – and so, of course, I couldn’t resist tasting some of the yummy food spread out in front of me, including the homemade soda bread with avocado, feta and pomegranate – simply divine.

I am super excited to see Littleones photographs published in a book and can’t wait to get my hands on it to try out Terri-Anne’s yummy healthy recipes with my own family!

Good luck, Terri-Anne, see you for the launch!
