Come along and get into the Christmas Spirit by dressing your littleones in Christmas pyjamas / jumpers or party outfits to get you in the mood and create some beautiful images for Christmas Cards and gifts too!
Our super fun Christmas sessions will be taking place in our beautiful boutique studio. These short and sweet mini sessions are perfect for custom Christmas cards and for presents for the whole family. These can be used for babies, toddlers, families, or just the children and Pets.

So a few years ago we were the first family photographers in Singapore to bring the Cake Smash photo shoot to Singapore shores! It is still a popular baby photography shoot to celebrate their 1st Year. We love capturing these Baby photo shoots so much we have decided to expand our creativity and are proud to introduce the ‘Donut Smash’ and ‘Fruit Smash’ photo sessions.
Babies love picking up and playing with the donuts, stacking them, licking them, throwing them and of course eating them! Whatever your theme we can find a donut to match the color scheme.
Our clients love shopping on etsy.com to choose cute and colorful and themed outfits that can deliver right to your door here in Singapore so your littleone can be photo shoot ready!
All you need to bring is ballons and a smile, we will sort the rest. The donut option is great for babies who don’t like getting as messy with cake icing or who are not familiar with the taste or texture of cake icing. The stack of donuts gives them something to play with and move around to keep them entertained whilst we capture some happy and fun portrait photographs in the studio. We always do family photographs first with mum and dad whilst everyone is clean and tidy. Family photographs with mum and dad and baby alone and then onto the fun part of the photo shoot!
Or maybe you prefer something a little healthier for your baby photography shoot, in that case let us introduce the ‘Watermelon smash’! You can also choose from the fruit stack which is colorful and fun too, the choices are endless! Babies love to dig into the fruit and eat it and you don’t have to worry about how much they are eating as its all healthy. And this makes Mummies all over very happy!
All natural and good for your littleone. The fruit adds a great pop of color to the photo shoot and it is lots of fun to watch them playing with the watermelon or fruit. Maybe next time we should get the straws out to drink the watermelon juice!

We have had a record number of newborn photo shoots this year, its a little baby boom in Singapore! Emily and myself both love photographing these tiny little humans, and Emily herself welcomed her first baby into the world in January this year. Check out our Instagram feed and FB posts for Evie photos and what we are now calling ‘Evie spam!’ we can’t get enough of her here in the studio and having a Mummy and an Aunty as Professional Photographers she has already racked up her photo shoots so far this year!
It is amazing how quickly newborn babies change over those first few weeks, from the little chicken legs filling out and the chubby cheeks emerging to the full blown proper smiles, there is always a great moment to capture on camera and remember. The first few weeks can be a blur for new parents with sleepless nights and constant feeding and you wonder how you will make it out the door before noon let alone have a moment to brush your own hair! And yet we find our feet and somehow manage it all.
When is the best time to do newborn photo shoot?
You can choose to have your newborn photo shoot either in the studio or we can come to your home. We recommend having the photo shoot in the first two to three weeks if you want to capture those tiny newborn moments. However many people do come later than this once the baby is smiling and this is another wonderful time to capture too. But if you want the really tiny newborn poses come in the first few weeks.
What to bring along to your shoot?
You can bring whatever you would like to the shoot, for example any special gifts or teddy bears and other soft toys you would like to have in the photos. We have a variety of wraps and blankets you can choose for your color theme for the photo shoot too.
Don’t forget to bring along any other family members you want to have included in the photo shoot with your newborn baby. A wonderful keepsake memory to have is the generational photo, Baby, Mummy/Daddy, and the Grandparent and if we are lucky enough a Great grandparent! Truly something to treasure for years to come.

We have had lots of fun sourcing our Christmas themed products for this year and are excited and happy to be working with Maissone, a gorgeous home decor shop here in Singapore who have kindly supplied us with many beautiful peices for our set up. Check them out https://www.maissone.com
When we headed down to Maissone we told them we were looking for something stylish with a classy, Scandinavian look and feel to it and they certainly did not disaappoint us! Think rugs, logs, fluffy cushions with wonderful grey and natural textures mixed together with some Christmas sparkle and warmth.
We have sourced further a field for our cute newborn and toddler hand knitted hats (toddler one shown in this blog) made by a lovely lady in the US for us. These add something very sweet to the photographs of your littleone!
For all of you who have booked with us please note we only have two of these hats for littleones but we have plenty of tradional Christmas hats for families.
Outfit choices for your shoot
Your Photo session is 20 minutes long so we would recommend one outfit for the session. Please arrive in your outfits so your photo shoot ready to ensure we have the maximum time to capture all your beautiful images.
Here are some our recommendations to make you look your best in the shoot. A lot of our general advice applies to our xmas themed shoot – do visit our Pinterest page for ideas for colours and style looks.
We would suggest avoiding all wearing the same colour, any neon colours or clothes with large logos and clashing patterns and colours.
Outfits that have been planned and have complimenting colours work really nicely.
– Holiday Best – If you want to feel extra special in your session, opt for a more formal look and wear your holiday best! A sparkly dress, jeans and a nice shirt etc would be fab.
– Holiday Jumpers – Want to wear something fun and silly for the session, perhaps select a fun xmas themed jumper or top.
– Pyjamas – Wear coordinating or matching PJ’s for the whole family or just the children is super cute. There are lots of options out there for matching Pjs now and these are super comfy.

How to prepare for your shoot
Arrive 10 minutes before you photo session
Come dressed in your chosen outfits
Let us know who is attending the photo session – the whole family or just the kids
Make sure the children have had a snack / food before the session so they aren’t hungry. If you can give them a quick face wash and teeth check that will ensure they are looking their best
If you have small children, try and make they have a nap beforehand so they are photo shoot ready
Bring along the children’s letter to Santa if they have one and they can be included in the photos (not essential)
Any Christmas themed toys or props that you would like to include (not essential)
