Emily's Loves .......
Having grown up in a house full of children, thanks to our mum’s job as a child carer, and being the youngest sibling of the family I have grown up surrounded by babies and children. Having met and photographed so many lovely families I am super excited about one day starting my own family.
I have grown up with a love and eye for photography. I love the affect a photograph can have on me, the emotion it can spark. For me being photographer is all about capturing those special moments for families and trying to bring out the personalities of the individuals. It’s a real magical feeling when a mum cries tears of happiness when viewing the photographs I have taken. Nothing makes my life more rewarding.
Kate's Loves .......
I am a mum of three wonderful young children. Amongst all my other loves above, I love meeting and photographing people especially the little people! Photography has been a passion of mine for most of my life and it is a real love.
I love that my photographs can freeze a moment in your child’s life forever and in the years to come when you look at the photo it instantly takes you back to that precious moment. Whether it be the first smile or tooth, the time your baby started to crawl or walk. Or how they used to snuggle into you for a cuddle. A photograph allows you to feel and remember that memory. I love to move people when they look at one of my photographs. I know then I have captured the real character and personality of the family or children, in their own way.
Professional Qualifications
We are members of the prestigious Master Photographers Association, the British Institute of Professional Photographers and the Royal Photographic Society. We join an elite group of professional photographers recognized in Singapore and worldwide, giving the families we work with the confidence that they are using the services of a reliable professional who has invested and dedicated hundreds of hours and passion into their art and photography skills.
Classically trained, Kate & Emily take simple, expressive black and white photographs both in the studio and on location, yet their passion for modern photography designs means they also have fun creative and cutting edge to their products and images. Kate is an Associate Master Photographer and together we have 14 years’ experience working & photographing families and children.
We have been awarded ‘Best Family Photographer’ in Singapore three years in a row by Singapore Tatler.
